Have you ever tried to prove your fundraising value to your organization? How do you know when you are succeeding and when your own efforts need some improvement? This session will provide an introduction to Key Performance Indicators to track your fundraising progress, some nuts and bolts instruction on how to complete simple calculations, and guidance on using your own fundraising data to learn and improve.
 After the session participants will be able to:

  1. Identify at least three Key Performance Indicators for fundraising.
  2. Understand how to easily calculate percent improvement from one quarter or year to the next
  3. Be able to access additional information on Key Performance Indicators in their field

PRESENTER:  J. Nelson-Weaver    

     J. brings more than 25 years of experience in health, non-profit, community, and philanthropic settings. She leads each project team to ensure high-quality services and satisfied customers equipped to achieve results.
J. brings expertise in areas such as measurement, creating monitoring and evaluation systems, designing measurement tools and feedback processes, developmental evaluation, qualitative research, Results Based Accountability (TM), strategic planning, program improvement (planning, implementation, and measurement), health equity, community organizing and more.
J. has a Doctorate in Public Health and a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts from the Univeristy of North Carolina at Asheville.
