Professional development and career growth is optimized when we have a mentor to turn to who will share valuable experience and knowledge. With a mentor you can:
This members-only benefit is a valuable one, especially if you are in the early years of your career or are in a one-person/small shop.
Mentoring a colleague is not only personally fulfilling, but helps the mentor to reflect upon his or her career path and skills. Both mentor and mentee will learn from each other.
The Triad AFP Chapter offers members one-on-one assistance through this unique program to enhance their career growth and knowledge as development professionals. Participation as a Mentee is available to members who have completed. Participation as a Mentor is encouraged from members with demonstrated expertise in fundraising, especially CFRE awarded professionals.
The 2016 Mentoring Partners program occurs over a six-to-nine month time span.
The Mentoring Partners Kick-off reception will be held on Tuesday, August 23 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Family Services, 1200 South Broad Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
